Spatial base-maps and centerline networks are starting to make the shift from E911 centric maps to a multimodal format. The shift from these maps is not always straightforward.

Zooming in on the region allows you to see the data structure that further lifts the spatial data. In this image, we see the parcel level data that covers not only commercial and residential but street polygons as well.
